  • Fridley is an authorized International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme World School.

  • Fridley secondary schools are accredited by North
    Central Association of Colleges and Schools

  • All Fridley Schools have recently undergone building
    renovations, remodeling, and technology updates.

  • Dual credit may be earned in Psychology, German
    and Modern Fiction through either the University of Minnesota or Anoka-Ramrsey
    Community College.

  • Over $48,200 in community scholarships are awarded
    to graduating Fridley students each year.

  • Fridley High School offers Advanced Placement courses
    in calculus, English, biology, and government.

  • The Fridley Schools are a partner in the community’s
    Values First initiative, which focuses on character development through
    the teaching and modeling of core community values.

  • Fridley Schools is in the third year of a nine year
    technology and facility improvement plan, which will allow for about
    $250,000 if improvements each year.

  • All Fridley Schools use the NWEA (Northwest Evaluation
    Assessment) program to measure growth in reading, language, and math.

  • Fridley Schools are part of a 7-district consortium,
    developing attractive magnet programs to address desegregation issues.

    many initiatives for residents.

  • Fridley has an excellent Alternative High School program

    a program for Middle school students, as well as for teen parents and
    their babies.

  • Fridley has strong, competitive sports tests which
    frequently participate at the conference level. Fridley has an excellent
    fine arts prod offering a wide range of opportunities for students.

  • Fridley offers a quality childcare program before
    and after school, with a pre-kindergarten option.

  • Early Childhood Family Education is for preschoolers
    and their families include classes, special events and drop-in hours
    the Creative Play Center.

  • Fridley Community Education offers a Family Literacy
    Program for English Language Learners, adults and their children with
    transportation provided.

  • Fridley offers an extensive variety of life long
    learning opportunities through its Community Education classes.
